Cathy and Larry Coolen count themselves fortunate to have sourced an excellent team of local tradesmen. No surprise that their praises include Charles Lantz Cabinetry. CLC's fine craftmanship is included in the kitchen, the office, master bathroom, walk-in closet and rec room.

"Charles' men are so, so, so particular," Cathy notes. "They're nice, friendly, helpful - he's very lucky to have them. We had such good luck with our trades. The carpenters were wonderful."

"I love my office" Cathy enthuses. The fine maple desk is home to what used to be housed in three different locations. The wires are tucked away out of sight - making for an uncluttered, beautiful work surface. A pull out shelf holds a printer and scanner. The built-in cork board is another handy feature. The laundry room is housed in the pool's half-bath. The spacious walk-in closet is off the master bathroom.

The rec room features a handsome entertainment centre with an automatic fireplace - it casts a cosy light at the flick of a switch. The bar is conveniently located nearby. "It's not a traditional bar," says Cathy. "I wanted a back bar - we're really enjoying it." The pieces are made from cherry wood, and sport a dark coat of stain.
