This designer kitchen made from hickory (hardwood) and granite countertops is another exceptional example of the fine work done by Charles Lantz Cabinetry. "We knew we wanted an island in the middle and that's about all," says Jill Smith. "We give him pretty near full credit for the design."
After getting stood up by Direct Buy, Jill and Michael Smith called Charles Lantz. He had built their friends' kitchen and they were impressed. "He seems to have an affinity with women," she says. "I'm not good at looking at plans and visualizing what they will be. He caught on to that quickly and was very sympathetic. The crew was so easy to work with - so eager to please."
"Charles drew up the final plans and assigned Kyle Veinot," says Jill. "Kyle scribed the (Indian slate) tiles and the cabinets fit perfectly. I don't know how he did it. It was a real labour of love."

These photos clearly demonstrate the care taken with matching wood-grains (click for larger version). "We had a party for all the builders," Jill says. "Kyle was definitely one of the guests of honour."
Charles Lantz comment
"Mike and Jill were extremely easy to work with. From start to the finish of this great project, they had the vision of this inviting hickory country kitchen, with plenty of work space for two people to work in. Thanks for allowing my company to help you!"
