DD Veinotte Construction called on CLC for a perfect kitchen in their home in Sweetland - and that's exactly what they got. "They've worked together on projects before," says Lisa Veinotte. "Don really admires Charles' work." What she finds especially remarkable is the cabinetry was built in the CLC shop, yet when installed, everything fit to a "T."
"We knew we wanted a peninsula, an island, a pantry," recalls Lisa. "Charles is very helpful in designing the kitchen - for example, where to put the fridge, where to put the stove - it's in the island." She loves the hideaway range hood - which, at the touch of a button can be up when needed as shown in the photo above, then hidden from view the rest of the time, as shown below left.

Lisa chose quartz countertops - she liked the look and their dependability. "I'd been around black countertops and didn't want to do that again," she says. "As for something bolder - that's a lot of countertop for loud." (Click photos for larger versions)

The pantry lost some space to a bathroom, but it was all good. "A narrow pantry isn't too deep," Lisa says. "You can't lose things. I can see what I have - and it holds lots of stuff." (Click photos for larger versions)
Lisa and Donald Veinotte chose darker cabinetry for a relaxing atmosphere in the upstairs bathroom.(Click photos for larger versions) |

Charles Lantz crew and comment
Trevor Creaser, assisted by Winston Wagner, constructed Lisa and Donald's kitchen. Dana Tanner built the washroom vanity.
Trevor and Dana
both installed the cabinetry. Jeff Crouse did all the spraying. Robar Countertops (902-543-7149) provided the Zodac quartz material
for the kitchen and vanity countertop.
"Donald and Lisa were wonderful to work with, they allowed us to help design this spacious work area.
Thank you from the staff of CLC"
