Nancy Smith was new to Halifax last fall. While picking up her kids from school, she asked other moms who they recommended for carpentry and cabinetry. One woman was very enthusiastic about her Charles Lantz kitchen. Now Nancy knows why.
And her request for a CLC kitchen came in perfectly timed between two other projects. Early 2011 and the expanded project was complete.

"He did a good job" says Nancy - "there's so many angles in our kitchen and it works really well - no wasted space.
He has the nicest team. Kyle and Dana [built and] installed the kitchen. They were so much fun."
Nancy, who loves to cook, now has the perfect place to wield her skills. "Charles and I work really well together, we tweaked a few little things - he was very accomodating."

The job started out as a kitchen, then grew to include a vanity in the downstairs powder room. They were well into the process when a master bathroom joined the to-do list.
Charles Lantz crew and comment
CLC's Kyle Veinotte and Dana Tanner built and installed the kitchen and island.
CLC's Richard Hirtle and Michael Drew built and installed the vanities.
The contractor that worked on the renovations was Work of Art.
The granite and tile was supplied by Nova Tile and Marble.
Comments: "This is a spacious kitchen with a large work-surface-island. The
cabinetry is maple framed shaker, complete with feet at the base. The color has a soft, rich feel. The owner, Nancy Smith, had
a great design vision - working with her was a pleasure. Thank you from CLC for allowing us to help you with your project."
