Lunenburg parties often end up in the kitchen - and Barbara Zwicker's kitchen is about big enough to hold a house-full comfortably. "When we have a party," she says, smiling, "it's grand." The photo above, as well as the ones just below only tell a very small piece of the story. This relaxed, informal area is conveniently housed at the far end of the kitchen. In photos further down, you can see why Barbara makes her claim.

After a long, happily married life together living atop a hill overlooking Lunenburg, Barbara and Sherman Zwicker decided to build their first home - and they did a beautiful job.
Over the years, they'd often heard great reviews about Charles Lantz Cabinetry. Before long, they joined his growing number of enthusiasts. "Charles is so obliging," says Barbara. "So pleasant, a joy to work with. He's very particular - everything fits."

The kitchen features gleaming, easy-care, countertops made from Nova Scotia granite.
In the dining room, CLC built a truly beautiful china cabinet, a piece with hand-made leaded glass by Suzanne Muir of Glassic Art.
It has the appearance of a treasured family heirloom and is something for which Barbara is understandably proud.
Charles' crew also did cabinets for Sherman's office, the bathroom, powder room and entryway.

For the Zwicker build, the Charles Lantz team included Roy Parsons and Dana Tanner who built the cabinetry, and Richard Hirtle and Trevor Creaser helped to install.
